What Is Mellow Sleep?
Mellow Sleep (mellowsleep.com, branded simply as "mellow") is a US online bedding brand that sells pillows, comforters, duvet inserts, sheets, mattress toppers, eye masks and, more recently, bath towels. The range is built around a few signature names: the CloudAlign Pillow, the MarshMellow Comforter and the CloudCool cooling line.
Much of the range is marketed as OEKO-TEX certified, hypoallergenic and 100% vegan, with down-alternative fills, and Mellow leans heavily on bundles.
Mellow Sleep Review: The Main Products Explained
Prices below were checked on mellowsleep.com on 6 November 2026, in USD, before the extra 15% from our link. Mellow labels its higher "compare" figures as comparable value, not former selling prices.
CloudAlign Pillow (the Mellow Pillow most people mean)
The CloudAlign Pillow is Mellow's flagship pillow and the product most shoppers mean when they search for a "mellow pillow". Mellow describes it as a patented ergonomic design with a shape-retaining memory foam core (which it calls the CloudSoft Core) inside an OEKO-TEX certified cover that it calls hypoallergenic and breathable. Its SwitchFit dual-height design gives you a low side and a high side, plus a side-sleeper wing.
- Sizes: Regular and High. Mellow's guide says Regular for people under 5'7" and High for people above 5'7".
- Who it suits: Mellow pitches it to side, back and stomach sleepers, with the lift side aimed at side sleepers and the soft side at back and stomach sleepers.
- Care: the pillowcase is machine washable and dryer safe; the foam pillow itself is not machine washable.
- Price today: $49.99 in White/Regular; other colors are $54.99 (Regular) and High runs $55.99 to $60.99.
MarshMellow Comforter
The MarshMellow Comforter is Mellow's original plush, "double-stuffed" comforter. Mellow describes a silky-smooth, breathable knitted shell and a plush microfiber, 100% vegan down-alternative fill designed to mimic real down while staying light. It is marketed as an all-season comforter, with Mellow saying it is "cozy in winter, cool in summer."
- Sizes: Twin/Twin XL, Full/Queen and King/Cali King, in ten colors including White, Gray, Sand, Sage Green and Midnight.
- Who it suits: shoppers who want the softest, fullest feel in the range; Mellow says it has the highest fill weight and loft of its comforters.
- Care: machine washable on a cold gentle cycle, one comforter per load, hang dry or low-heat tumble dry with dryer balls.
- Price today: from $87.99 (White, Twin/Twin XL) up to $124.99 for King/Cali King in some colors.
CloudCool Cooling Comforter
The CloudCool Cooling Comforter is Mellow's answer to the "cooling comforter" search. It is two-sided: one side uses what Mellow calls Arctic Silk, a silk-smooth surface that it says gives "instant cool-to-the-touch relief", and the other uses a soft, breathable CloudKnit. Mellow says the airy fill is designed to keep air flowing, and describes the comforter as "light on heat, full on loft."
- Sizes: Twin/Twin XL, Full/Queen and King/Cali King, in 13 colors.
- Who it suits: Mellow positions it for hot sleepers who still want the look of a full comforter.
- Care: machine washable and dryer safe, with no cover needed.
- Price today: $79.99 (Twin/Twin XL), $89.99 (Full/Queen) and $99.99 (King/Cali King), the same in every color.
CloudCool Cooling Sheet Set and Cooling Pillowcases
The CloudCool Cooling Sheet Set uses a cooling fiber blend in an adaptive stretch knit that Mellow describes as breathable and moisture-wicking, with a "refreshing, not freezing" feel. Each set includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and pillowcases: one standard case for Twin XL, two standard cases for Full and Queen, and two king cases for King and Cali King. Care is machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Prices today run from $82.99 (Twin XL) to $91.99 (Full), $103.99 (Queen), $116.99 (King) and $117.99 (Cali King). Mellow's cooling pillowcases currently come free in the CloudAlign 2-pack bundle.
Adjustable Weighted Eye Mask
The Adjustable Weighted Eye Mask holds 240g of glass beads, has a self-fastening fabric closure so you can set the fit, and has two sides: a cooling side (88% nylon, 12% spandex) and a plush side (100% polyester). Mellow says it blocks up to 99% of light. It is machine washable on a cold gentle cycle. It costs $29.99 today in six colors; a separate Fitted version is also sold.

How to Choose the Right Mellow Pillow and Comforter
Mellow frames its range around sleep position, temperature and feel:
- Side sleepers: Mellow points side sleepers to the CloudAlign's lift side and side-sleeper wing, and to the BodyAlign body pillow. Pick CloudAlign High if you are taller than 5'7".
- Back and stomach sleepers: Mellow suggests the soft side of the CloudAlign. The BodyAlign is not intended for stomach sleepers.
- Hot sleepers: Mellow positions the CloudCool Cooling Comforter and CloudCool Cooling Sheet Set for people who run warm.
- If you want maximum plushness: the MarshMellow Comforter is Mellow's fullest, highest-loft option.
Mellow Sleep Benefits in Practical Terms
- Adjustable fit: the CloudAlign has two heights in one pillow plus Regular and High sizes, and the Flex Pillow has removable fill.
- Washability: both comforters, the sheets, the eye mask and most pillow covers are machine washable.
- Cooling fabrics: Arctic Silk on the CloudCool comforter and the CloudCool knit on the sheets are, as Mellow describes them, designed to feel cool to the touch and breathable.
- Bundles: 2 CloudAlign Pillows + 2 Free Cooling Pillowcases is $89, MarshMellow Comforter + 2 CloudAlign Pillows is $164.99, and CloudCool Comforter + 2 CloudAlign Pillows is $159.99.
- Stacked savings: the extra 15% from our link applies on top of sale and bundle prices, so a $49.99 CloudAlign comes to about $42.50 before shipping.
